For an Instrumental Easy Listening Trio of Piano-Bass-Drums, playing popular and recognizable melodies from the 50's thru the 90's

Since 2002, we’ve been members of the prestigious SD Arts Council Touring Artists Roster, originally as Rochford Jazz and now as “The Jim Szana Trio”

The South Dakota Arts Council (SDAC) serves South Dakotans and their communities through the arts.
The SDAC provides funds for grants to artists, arts organizations, community arts projects, traditional arts apprenticeships, and community symphonies and orchestras. In addition, the SDAC provides the Artists in Schools, Communities arts residency program and the Touring Arts program.

All 6 of our CD’s were professionally recorded, produced, & manufactured, which include “INTERESTING MIX”, “SWINGS!”, “3”, “ROCH4D”, “CHRISTMAS WITH ROCHFORD JAZZ” and "Good Evening Viet Nam "

The pianist Dr Jim Szana has recorded an additional 4 CD’s of solo piano, most recently the inspirational "GLOBAL WARMING"

Dr Szana was the 2004 South Dakota Acoustic Christmas Guest Performer for their state-wide concerts & recording.

We have performed live on SD Public Radio’s “Jazz Nightly” and 5 of our CD’s have been played and featured on SD Public Radio

SDPB’s “Jazz Nightly” DJ Jim “Uncle Jimmo” Clark named our 2003 CD “3” the “best jazz CD of the year from a South Dakota group”.

We even had one of our recording played on The Weather Channel’s “Local on the 8’s” segment (“King for a Day”, 2005)

2007-2008 Touring Arts Roster is available in a Adobe Acrobat® PDF format. Performances by touring artists listed in the Roster are subsidized for South Dakota nonprofit organizations by grants to the artists by the South Dakota Arts Council.
